We are all on a path to a glorious destination. As individuals, we have a responsibility to help our brothers and sisters of the world. We must delve inside ourselves to discover our purpose.
Life is not about acquiring riches or surpassing our neighbors. It is about looking at each other and finding something that we have in common. It’s about helping someone up when they fall, it’s about giving a thumb’s up when no one else is willing to build confidence. It’s about believing without seeing. It’s about understanding and merging together as one. It’s about accepting without judgment.
It’s about believing in a higher power regardless of what you call that higher power.
When you start worrying about the next life, you begin living this life differently.
Life is not a competition; every man is replaceable but only certain ones leave marks.
Take time today to leave a mark on someone’s heart and you may help them rise higher than they ever knew they could. In return, they may do the same for another.

For some, confidence is hard to achieve. You let other people’s perceptions of you interfere with who you really are. Today is the day to look within and embrace your inner self. You may be different from others and that is okay. Take that difference and fly with it. You don’t have to be like anyone else to fit in. If someone makes you feel out of place because you are different, chances are they are intimidated by the confidence they see but you don’t. We are all of different race, religion, body shape, gender and all possess different personalities. But the one thing we all have in common is LOVE. Love is universal and it has nothing to do with color, social class or body size. If we all embraced love a little more the world would be a much better place.

Last Friday was sunny, warm and inviting. This Friday is gloomy and cool. Immediately I could feel the blues setting in. Last week I felt like I could conquer the world but today I felt like I wanted to hide from the world. I searched for depressing songs to suit my mood. I was prepared to sulk when I came across a song that lifted my mood. This Little Light of Mine is exactly what I needed. Bruce Springsteen’s version is upbeat and knocked the blues out of me. When the world outside is gloomy and dark, find your light and let it shine.

Neil Young is a well-known legend and I fell in love with his song Unknown Legend the very first time I heard it. His voice is not like any other and can soothe a crying baby to sleep. Listening to his music takes me to that far-away place called yesterday; it is the only way to get back.

The Counting Crows recently released their new album. I love the Counting Crows and I’m sure the music on this album will be great. This week I decided to post my favorite Counting Crows Song-Colorblind. I could watch the movie Cruel Intentions repeatedly;the chemistry between Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philipe was steaming. It saddened me when they seperated, I really liked them together.
